ii) Aluminum Park

There is a proposal for establishment of one Aluminum park for promotion of aluminum based ancillary and downstream industries in the District.  Ac.240.00 land adjacent to NALCO boundary has been acquired by IDCO and acquisition of further 200 acre of land is under progress.  A steering committee has been formed consisting Chief Manager, NALCO , DGM, NALCO, Sub-Collector, Angul, GM (P & C), IDCO , Land Officer , IDCO and Divisional Head , IDCO, Angul for speedy implementation of  the park. One consultant has been appointed by NALCO for preparation of DPR for Ancillary and Downstream Industries of NALCO.

iii) New Industrial Estate :-

Although there are two nos. of Industrial Estate and one Industrial Area established in Angul District, the land and sheds are almost exhausted for which the entrepreneurs often find it difficult to set up their industries at Angul for lack of infrastructure.  Meanwhile, land measuring 35 Ac. Near  Jarapada has been earmarked by the Dist. Administration, Angul for development of new Industrial Estate and Director of Industries, Odisha has already recommended the proposal to IDCO, Bhubaneswar for acquisition of land.
