6) Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:

i) Emergency Section:

"Alertness" is the password for functioning in the Emergency Section. All the staffs assigned to the Emergency Section are expected to live up to this Bench mark.

ii) Land Acquisition Section:

Timely submission of the land acquisition proposal before the appropriate authority. Revision and supervision of work made by the field staff i.e. Amin. Active co-operation and easy access to the problems of the people to handle the issue properly.

7) Details of Services rendered:

i) Emergency Section:

The Emergency Section acts as the Nodal Agency for convening the District Level Natural Calamity Committee meeting twice in a year to take stock of the preparedness measure. In times of Natural Calamities, it is the nodal agency for coordination of Relief - Rescue - Rehabilitation measures. Besides this, administration of the Relief as per the revised Calamity Relief Fund norms as well as the directives of the SRC/ Revenue & Disaster Management Department are also routed through Emergency Section. Payment of assistance to the beneficiaries out of the CMRF is also given through Emergency Section.

ii) Land Acquisition Section:

Proclamation of notification made by Govt. under different section of the land acquisition Act, 1894 in the villages. Holding of hearing the camp about the scheduled land in the disputes relate to land and its ancillaries. Holding of current yadast as against the ROR's & preparation of awards. Payment of compensation and implementation of clauses under section 18 (1) & 30 of L.A. Act. Handed over of possession of land & rent abatement proposal to concerned Tahasildar. To attend the Higher Court if any legal disputes.
