1. Brief History of the Public Authority & Context of its formation:
B.N.K. High School, Purusottampur, Keonjhar is a new Govt. Educational Institution imparting education in High School Level. This institution was established in the year 1976 in the district of Keonjhar. It extends teaching facilities in Humanities, Social Sciences and Physical Sciences etc. The main objectives of this institution is to disseminate knowledge to the students in different fields. Simultaneously, this institution also aims at the overall development of the students physical, mental and moral. Games and Sports are also an integral part of this institution which inspires the students to be physical fit. There are also many societies, associations related to social service and cultural programmes, Scouts, Jr. Red Cross.
