1. Brief History of the College:
Established in 1985 as Priyadarshini Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalda, under Raghunathpalli Educational Society of south Rourkela. It is situated in a tribal village of Lathikata Block under Sundergarh district. It was established to impart education among the tribal girls of this locality.
2. Aim & Objective of the College:
Priyadarshini Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalda is a premiere women educational institution situated in jalda with predominately tribal population. This institution has been rendering yeoman service in the field of higher education to the sovially and economically backward women of this locality for the last three decades. In an age when women emancipation and the rights of the girl child are utmost global importance.
Priyadarshini Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalda is Particularly privileged to have been imparting Higher Education to the socially and economically backward women of Lathilata a Predominantly Tribal Block in the district of Sundergarh, Odisha complete commitment to social economic and intellectual progress of these women is our motto.
