1. Brief History of College:Abhimayu Samanta singhar College named after an erudite Scholar of Odia Literature  Bidagdha Kabi Abhimanyu Samanta Singhar whose name has become Synonym of Odia Culture and literature at Kabi’s birth place Abhimanyu Balia , Jajpur has been established in the Year-1987 . Aa area of amounting Accr. 14.82 decimal has been recorded in name of our College .The nomenclature has been changed i.e. Abhimanyu Samantasinghar Higher Secondary School  since 2018. This educational institution situated within an island Brahmani , Birupa and Kelua . The college has an imposing array of 705 students in +2 Arts, Science, and Commerce streams . The college accorded the Govt. concurrence in the year 1988-89 with 128 in +2  Arts and increased seats from 128 to 256 in +2 Arts stream in the year 1991-92. The college accorded the Govt. permission in science and Commerce each 64 seats in the year 1994 -95 .Consequently the Govt. has increased the seats  in Science from 64 to 128 . In the year 2010-11 the Govt. was pleased to increase the seats in +2 science stream from 128 to 192. The college has got its permanent recognition from Regional Director of Education, Bhubaneswar for +2 Arts 256 seats, Science 128 seats and commerce 64 sears in the year 2003-04. The college has been well equipped with a good library, improved laboratory, Playground and garden. The college has an adequate infrastructure with healthy atmosphere in imparting quality education aiming to promote and foster high quality education to the rural meritorious students .
