1.Aims & Objectives of the Organizations:
The N.H. Sub-Division, Jashipur is functioning as a territorial Sub-Division under N.H.Division, Keonjhar. The Sub-Division is headed by the Assistant Executive Engineer.
2. Function and Duties:
N.H.Sub-Division, Jashipur is in charge of maintenance of 45.0Km of New N.H.49 (Old N.H.6) i.e from Km 522/0 to 567/0Km & N.H.220 from Km. 71/400 to 91/515 Km for 14.61 Km (except Karanjia By-pass).
3. Jurisdiction:
N.H. Sub-Division, Jashipur is in charge of maintenance of 45.0Km of New N.H.49 (Old N.H.6) i.e from Km 522/0 to 567/0Km & N.H.220 from Km. 71/400 to 91/515 Km for 14.61 Km (except Karanjia By-pass).
a) N.H. Sec. No.I, Jashipur: From 522/0 to 557/0 Km of N.H.49 & from 71/400 to 91/515Km of N.H.220 (except Karanjia By-pass)
b) H.Sec.No.II, Jashipur: New N.H.49 (Old N.H.6) i.e from Km557/0 to 567/0 Km. he Sub-Division takes up the work under Central Govt. plan and Non-plan scheme in the state like Improvement to existing carriage way, Periodical renewal, Special Repair, Flood Damage Repair, maintenance of National Highway roads and bridges coming under the jurisdiction of this Sub-Division. Besides it also looks after the acquired land of Govt. of India (N.H) in the above jurisdiction. It also undertakes state plan and non-plan works like road construction, maintenance and repair of road and both residential and non-residential buildings including 1no. of Inspection Bungalow coming under the jurisdiction of the sub-division. It also takes us deposit works of various departments as and when entrusted to it.
