1. Aims and objectives of the organizations:
The main aim and objective of the Registration Office is to:
a) To provide Public evidence of certain transaction.
b) To afford publicity to the transactions.
c) To Secure Conclusive guarantee of the authenticity of deeds.
d) To protect individuals from being deceived by entering in to transaction relating to properties previously disposed of and
e) To afford facilities to people for Providing against any injury to the right of property by loss of in destruction of document Concerning transaction relating to immovable property.
2. Mission/ Vision:
The mission of the organization in to help the Registrant public on registration of their document on sale of stamp paper through Franking machine supplied for the purpose to avoid fake and forged Stamp.
The Vision of organization in to redress the grievance of the Registrant public such as delivery of their registered document and issue of certified copies and encumbrance certificate in time.
More over this organization aims for of a unique draft for preparation of different type of documents by the executants/ claimants in order to present their document in the office in time to get their registration in the same day.
3. Brief history and background for its establishment:
The District Sub-Registrar Boudh (D.S.R Boudh) has been started functioning with effect from 01.06.1948 Now it is functioning in its own building since 12.05.1992.
The jurisdiction of the office covers 774 Revenue villages of two Tahasils namely Boudh and Harbhanga having 5 police station namely 1. Boudh 2. Harabhanga 3. Purunakataka 4 . Baunsuni 5. Manamunda (Part).

Timely presentation of documents as well as to submit all required documentary evidences in support of Right, Title, Interest and Identity.
Contribution to raise the District Red cross fund has been implemented and required membership charges have been collected from the public on proper receipt.
Immediate action is being followed to delivery all the public services in a mechanism so available in this office as per instructions of the Govt. in e-Registration system.

5. Allocation of business:
The District Sub Registrar in empowered for Registration of various document relating to movable and immovable properties and the I.R Act-1908 and Registration and Solemnization of marriage under the Special Marriage Act-1954.
Record Room Section: Grant of certified copy of Document/ Grant of encumbrance certificate and general searches/ Bench mark value of property.
Correspondence Section: To deal with all correspondences of the office, inspection note /audit Report monthly report and returns.
Establishment section: To deal with Establishment maters, forms and stationary , library , Bil Budget and Accounts Section.
Bil/Budget and Account section: Preparation of all Bil/budget.
Marriage Section: Registration of marriage and solemnization of marriage under section-5.
Right to Information Section: Receive and disposal of application filed under the RTI Act.
Grievance Section: Disposal of Grievance petitions.
6. Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:
a) Registration of documents. So presented in the office from 10.00 AM to 2.30 PM.
b) Sale of stamps through franking machine from 10.00 AM to 2.30 PM.
c) Supervising on completion of documents with in 7 days.
d) Grant of certified copy of documents E.C. on the same day in case of urgent necessity.
e) Registration / solemnization of marriage.
f) Advice to public on payment of stamp duty and fees properly.
g) Giving information of bench mark valuation of immovable property.
7. Details of services rendered:
District Sub-Registrar is the Principal Officer of the registration Sub-District, Boudh. His primary duty to register the documents and collection proper stamp duty and fees there on and deposit the same in Treasury government Account.
As a marriage Officer he is to make registration of marriage application and solemnize the marriages under the Special Marriage act.
Besides this a lot of miscellaneous business has to be managed by the District sub-Registrar as and when assigned by the superior authority.

There is regular interaction between the organization and citizen in order to let them know the Rules/ stamp/ Fees of this organization and its aims and objectives.
In citizen interface counter people get information and copies of land related documents.

11. Working hours both for office and public:
In the working days of the week from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM with a lunch break from 1.30 PM to 2.00 PM both for Public and office. In emergency situation the office functions 24 hours.
12. Public interaction, if any:
In a week Public Interaction is made every day in general and Saturday as Public Grievance day in particular.
13. Grievance redress mechanism:
Soon after receipt of the Grievance from any quarter . such petition is entered in grievance register concerned and maintained, The enquiry is to the petition is being done by the D.S.R. personally Grievance of Public is being heard on every Saturday.
