This office deals with Presidential Election, Election to Rajya Sabha, Bye Election, Delimitation of Constitutencies, Preparation of Election to Legislative Assembly, Election to Lok Sabha, Polling Arrangement, Preparation of Election Rolls, Revision of Electoral Rolls, Simultaneous General Election, EPICs, EVMs, SVEEP, NVD, Rationalization of Polling Station & other Correspondence.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]

1. Collection Khurda- All the decisions made by Collector & DEO Khurda.

2. A.D.M., General, Khordha All the decisions made by Collector & DEO Khurda.

3. Deputy Collector Election- One receipt different categories of the files relating to election matter and compliance Report on 1/N of Collector & ADM and compliance Report on A/R and I/R from different concerned officers and recovery of Government Duty. Submission of N.D.C. and report return Deputy Collector disposal of other files at his level as necessary and other files endorsed to A.D.M. for disposal and approval of Collector.

4. Section Officer- Soon after receiving the files relating to Election Section, from dealing Asst. file submitted with dully checking to Deputy Collector for disposal.

5. Sr. Revenue Assistant- As per distribution of work at manual 2 dealing assistant is placing their for disposal at Deputy Collector and A.D.M. level.

6. Jr. Revenue Assistant- As per works assigned time to time
