1. Aim & Objectives of the Organisation:
Katapali Degree College, Katapali was established in 1994. The long cherished vision of the conscious public of Katapali was materialized in 1994 and the college came in to existence on 1st June 1994. Thanks to the untiring efforts & initiative of Late Taranisen Padhan, President, sincere efforts of Sri Arun Kumar Sahu, Secretary and other members of the Governing Body who focused the need of higher education & undertook adventure in founding the college. The Govt. Recognition & Sambalpur University . affiliation on +3 Arts stream with 64 seats were conferred from the session 1994-95.

 

The college was notified as an aided Education Institute from 20-01-2009 and came under 40% Block Grant Payment Scheme (662 Degree Colleges) through G.I.A. order 2008.

 

The college imparts co-education in +3 Arts stream with 64 seats from 1994 to 2009,to the nearby rural youths for higher education through value oriented integral education, nourishing mental faculties and accomplishing the moral, ethical & spiritual elements of the students The College has increased her strength from 64 to 128 from 2009-10 session. The College has also facilities for Degree honours in Pol.Sc & Odia.
