1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
Panchayat High School, Salana was established as a private Institution in the year 1976 with dual effort of Sri Chandrashekhar Padhee of Vill- Balikulunda and Sri Gouranga Tripathy of Vill- Deshbhatlie the erstwhile Sambalpur District. It is a co-educational institution recognized by the Inspector of schools, Sambalpur Circle, Sambalpur vide Memo No. 625 dt. 24-01-1979 and admitted in to direct payment of full salary cost w.e.f. 01.03.1988. The Government of Odisha has taken over the school under his control on Dt. 7.6.1994. The main aim and objective of the Institution is to provide quality education consisting of Physical, Psychological and Moral. Scout Guide, J.R.C. Sports etc. as Co-curricular activities are provided to make the students achieve their goal in future.
