1. Brief history of the public Authority
Thakurmunda Government High School, Thakurmunda is an educational institution which has been imparting education to the pupils of entire Thakurmunda Block and nearby area Sarat, Anandpur & Karanjia Block. It has been a co-educational Instituion since 1960. The school was established by the local people of Thakurmunda in the year 196O.The School received Grant-in-aid from the Government of Odisha in 1960 and was taken over by the Government on 07.06.1994.Thakurmunda Government High School, Thakurmunda imparts educational facilities both scholastic & co-scholastic to strengthen the physical & cognitive level of the student since opening. The main and objective of the institution is to provide quality education consisting physical,phychological and moral. NCC, Scouts & Guide, JRC, Sports etc as co-curricular activities provide to make the students to achieve their goals in future.
