1. Aims and Objective of the public Authority-(Our School):
i. To ensure the existence and promotion of an ethos which delivers social justice through mutual respect and tolerance of, and for each other, leading to self enrichment gained from understanding difference embraced within our community.
ii. To provide the opportunity for every student to acquire and develop the knowledge, skills and understanding that will prepare them to their chosen path into, and through adult life, able to accept fully that every right has, in equal measure, an associated responsibility.
iii. To work in partnership with our parents through effective communication and transfer of information in such a way that will facilitate of mutual support and ultimately the development of every individual.
iv. To encourage the students the widest possible participation in sports and co-curricular activities.
v. To provide strong pastoral and related support with clear moral and spiritual foundation for all ages.
2. Brief history of the public authority:
Remunda Government High School, Remunda the man making industry of our locality, established on 2nd July 1947 by late Manglu Padhan, the freedom fighter and social worker of our village, is one of the biggest and oldest High School in Bargarh district. Govt. of Odisha has been pleased to provide full grant-in-aid to our school in 1954 and again this school was taken over by the govt. in 1994. This school provides coeducation and stand on 7.61 acres of land with a hostel still running of one hundred seats. Our high school has been awarded as the best school by B.S.E. Odisha in our district during the year 2001. The school having D.D.O power of H.M & sgot the permission of OES-II Headmaster in the years 1998. N.C.C and Scout facility runs from class VI to class X along with student strength of above five hundred every year.
