1. Aim & Objective of the Organization:
Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation has been created during the year 1973. From the inception OLIC is executing Lift Irrigation Ps. in district obtaining financial help from different agency. At present new projects are mainly sanctioned out of NABARD assistance. After implementation of Pani Panchayats Act-2003, OLIC are not operating the Lift Irrigation Projects and not charging any water tax. The Pani Panchayats are operating the Lift Irrigation Projects by themselves after taking over of projects from OLIC and execution of agreement with Distribution Company. The following works are now doing by OLIC.
2. Mission/ Vision:
a. Execution and installation of River lift projects, M.D. Tube well, Shallow Tube Well and Bore Well in Mayurbhanj District.
3. History & Background of its Establishment:
