Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

[Section-4 (1) (b) (i)]

Aims and Objectives of the Organization:

This organization is functioning as a Division under the Directorate of Research & Quality Control, Bhubaneswar-12 in the department of Water Resources, Govt. of Odisha. Aim of this organization is to keep observance on the quality of the works executed by the Contractors at different Govt. projects and likely to provide Quality Control assurance to the construction. And to regulate the quality audit at regular interval.

Mission / Vision:

It provides leadership in assuring quality of works & guiding the W.R. department to achieve fruitful return from the investment.

Delegated with power to sanction Leave of Non-gazetted staff working under his control up to a limit of thirty days. Pensions sanction authority of Class IV staff. To recommend all cases of all Gaz. & Non Gazetted staff working under his control to higher authority for further action.

 

 

 

He is the head of the Office and exercises over all supervision of different activities of Quality Control works of different projects under his jurisdiction
