1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
Government High School Rayagada, Gajapati is a old Govt. educational institution imparting education in School level from Class I to X. This institution was established on 1957 in the district of Gajapati. It extends teaching facilities in humanities, social science. Physical sciences, vocational education etc. The main objectives of the institution is to disseminate knowledge to the students in different fields. Simultaneously this institution also aims at the overall development of the students curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular also as internal part of this institution which inspires the students to be physically fit. There are also many societies, associations and different clubs related to social services and cultural programme J.R.C. Scouts & Guide, Eco-Club, red-ribbon club, and legal literacy club, Atal Tinkaring, Kaushali, Jigyansa, Sahitya Srujani, Kridangana, Ayushman Bharat are functinIng.
