1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
Panchayat High School, Manijori was established in the year 1981. It was recognized in the year 1983. The employees of the school got direct payment in the year 1991 and the school was taken over by the State Govt. in the year 1994. Now it is under the management of school and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha.
The School imparts education for the classes from VIII to X in Odia Medium, following the syllabus prescribed by Board of Secondary Education Odisha. The school has its own building however as Primary school in also running parallel in the same campus, the school campus having an area of 2.36 acre is being shared by both the primary and high school.
The school building in a pucca building with RCC roof. Only 3 class rooms are available for teaching 3 classes having strength of nearly 43 students.
The school is about 10 KMS away from the Block head quarters, i.e. Mahanga Block. It is the 1st High School in Barahipur Gram Panchayat. Only two primary schools are the feeding schools of this High Schools. Most of the students are from low income families. Class VIII has only sections and having 13 students. Similarly class IX has only one section having IT students and class X has only one section having nearly 13 students.
