1. Brief History of the Public Authority & Context of its formation:
Government High School, Umuri in Umuri Panchayat under Koraput Block which is ST dominating area. It is a Govt. Educational Institution imparting education to Co-education Level. This institution was established on 1993 and get recogonization of Class IX and X on 1996. The main objectives of this institution is to disseminate knowledge to the Boys and Girls students in different fields. Simultaneously, this institution also aims at the overall development of the Boys and Girls student Physical, mental & moral. Games and Sports are also an integral part of this institution which inspires the students to be physically fit.
