Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

[Section-4 (1) (b) (I)] 

1. Aim and objectives of the Organization:

Bhubaneswar (Com) Zone was created on 12.01.1978 comprising of 4 (Four) Commercial Divisions, One Kenduleaf Division and Sales Centre at Delhi. Subsequently Kenduleaf Division merged with Commercial Division named as Angul (C-KL) Division and Keonjhar (C-KL) Division. One sales centre at Delhi was abolished. Now 5 (Five) Commercial Division, 2 (Two) Commercial & Kenduleaf Division and One Plantation Division are functioning under this Zone. Bhubaneswar (C) Zone has supervising the work at above 8 (Eight) Divisions.

2. Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:

All the staff have been assigned to do their duties to achieve the target and mission for performing their duties to the best interest of timber, Bamboo, Kenduleaf tread & Plantation activities.

3. Citizens' Interaction:

Interaction is being conducted at Zone & Divisions level.

Working hours both for Office & Public is 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. with lunch break 1.30 P.M. to 2.00 P.M. every day excluding Govt. holidays as notified by the Govt. of Odisha from time to time.

Flow Process Chart for disposal of letters:

When a letter is received in the Zonal Office by the receiving Officer immediately he passes the same to the General Manager for perusal and return. Then the letter passed through regular process such as received, making of section and submits with comments for disposal of the application through concerned section.
