O/o the Child Development Project Office ICDS Project, Urban-I, Bhubaneswar is located at Urban-I, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

 

This office comes under the Department of Women's & Child Development, Govt. of Odisha.

 

The main function of this institution is to reduce malnutrition & Child mortality rate.

1) Objectives of the Public Authority:

To reduce the malnourishment and child mortality through awareness generation, community participation, supplement nutrition and growth monitoring; To improve the standard of living by improving health and nutrition status of children and mothers. 

2) Mission/ Vision Statement of the Public Authority:

Women & Child Development & Public Awareness.

3) Brief History of the Public Authority and Context of its Formation:

CDPO, Bhubaneswar (Urban)-I covers Bhubaneswar Eakamra Assembly Constituency area since June 2011 (Joining of CDPO). Subsequently the scheme has been implemented in the Urban area (Bhubaneswar Eakamra)

4) Areas of the Public Authority:

I.C.D.S. Project, Bhubaneswar (Urban)-I running with 120 A.W.Cs & 25 wards (23,24,41,44,47,48,49,50-67,) of BMC, Bhubaneswar areas.

The ICDS Project renders six packages of services along with Mission Shakti & Mamata.
