1. Aims & Objectives of the Organization:
Mahatma Gandhi Degree College, Bhukta in the district of Bargarh, was established in the year 1987 to provide Higher Education to the people of this locality. Bhukta is inhabited mostly by S.C., S.T. and OBC. Population Who depend upon agriculture as the source of livelihood. Before the establishment of this college only the privileged few boys were pursuing their education out side and the poor boys and both poor and rich girls were compelled to close their studies at H.S.C. Or +2 level. With the establishment of this College, opportunities could be provided to the financially weaker sections and basically to girls students to pursue their Higher Education. The basic objective of the institution is to impart Higher Education to poor students of this backward area and to inculcate the spirit of competition in the students both at State and national level.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

This is a Private 40% Block Grant College. The G.B. of the College & the Principal takes decisions in various matter as per the direction of the Government, DHE Odisha and Sambalpur University.

Any letter, Public Application, proposals received from Government Public individual, Students and Staff are being entered in the Diary Register and referred to concerned Sections. Officers -in- Charge, Committees for examination and submission of the compliance in the related files. The files duly routed through the different Officers in charge/ Bursars/ heads of the concerned Departments are put up before the Principal for Approval/ Sanctions after being dispatched with number and date.
