O/o the Kalinga Degree College, Manada, Mayurbhanj is located at Manada, Mayurbhanj, Odisha.

This office comes under the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha.

The basic objectives of the institution is to impart Higher Education to the students of this backward area and to inculate the spirit of competition in the students both at State and National level

1. Brief History and Background of the Establishment:

Kalinga Degree College, Manada, Mayurbhanj set up at the heart of Manada, Mayurbhanj Block, Bisoi, Odisha in the year 1995 under Society Registration act xxi of 1860 by the eminent personalities of the locality to impart higher education.

The Aim of this college is to instill in the students a defined culture, discipline & dedication while persuing glearing knowledge. Kalinga Degree College is the first non govt. educational institution of the locality got permission from DHE Odisha from the academic session 1995-96 to impart education in +3 arts having sanctioned strength of 128 seats. The institution has also got affiliation from U.U., Odisha from the session 1995-96 besides the institution has received permanent recognition from the session 2003-04 from DHE, Odisha vide letter no-24008 dt07-07-2004 & permanent affiliation from N.O.U from 22-09-2011 from the session 2011-12

The college is duly collaborated by an advantageous learning environment

Any letter, Public application, proposal received from Government, Public Individual, Students and staff are being entered in the diary register and referred to concerned sections. The file duly routed through the different Officers in Charge/ Bursars/ Heads of the concerned Departments are put up before the Principal for approval/ sanctions after which being dispatched with number and date.
