Introduction
O/o the Divisional Manager, Odisha Forest Development Corporation, Berhampur (C) Division, Berhampur is located Berhampur, Ganjam, Odisha.
This office comes under the Department of Forest & Environment, Govt. of Odisha.
The main function of this institution is to achieve the target and mission for performing their duties to the best interest of timber, bamboo and Plantation trade, Minor Forest Produce item.

Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties
[Section-4 (1) (b) (I)]
1. Aim and objective of the Organization:
Berhampur (C) division was created w.e.f 04.02.1977. The two plantations named as Berhampur (A) and (B) created w.e.f 16.04.1978 and 1.4.1986 respectively have been merged with this division w.e.f 1.2.2003 as per letter No. 15116 dt. 29.5.2000 of Managing Director, O.F.D.C Ltd, Bhubaneswar. At present this division is working in the forest areas of Paralakhemundi and Berhampur Forest Divisions with the existing following 4 sub-divisions.
i. Raghunathpur Sub-division., Raghunathpur, Ganjam.
ii. Mohana Sub-division, Mohana, Gajapati.
iii. Khallikote Plantation Sub-division, Khallikote, Ganjam.
iv. Mohana Sub-division., Mohana, Gajapati.
This division covers revenue district of Gajapati and part of Ganjam District. This division mainly depends on U.D and salvaged materials from Paralakhemundi and Berhampur Forest Divisions for trading. In 2007-08 onwards the timber coupes have been allotted from Paralakhemundi Forest Division only.
2. Duties to be performed to achieve the mission:
All the staff have been assigned to do their duties to achieve the target and mission for performing their duties to the best interest of timber, bamboo and Plantation trade, Minor Forest Produce item.

Interaction is being conducted at Division and Sub-division level.

5. Working Hours both office and Public:
Working hours both for office and public is 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM. with lunch break 1.30 PM to 2.00 PM. every day excluding Govt. holidays as notified by the Govt. of Odisha from time to time.

In the office premises and Sub-Divisional level.

When a letter is received in the divisional office by the receiving officer immediately he passes the same to the D.M. for perusal and return. Then the letter passed through regular process such as received, marking of section and submits with comments for disposal of the application through concerned section.
