1. Brief History of the Public Authority :

Panchayat Samiti College, Gaisilat was establish on 2nd July 1984 carting needs of the locality. It is situated in a educationally backward area of Bargarh Districts. It started +2 Arts in 1984 with 7 optional subject. Later on 1991 +2 Science wing was Added with 128 student strength in +2 Arts Sanction Student Strength 128. The college is co-educational institution. It has gone long way with help of local generous donors .the college is permanently recognized by Department of Higher Education Govt. of Odisha. And it is permanently Affiliated to CHSE Odisha, Bhubaneswar. Being a rural based college it is committed to spread higher education at low cost among the young Boys and Girls of locality and other part Odisha. It is shaping the human resource for the growth humanism and scientific enquiry the teaching staffs are striving hard to achieve excellence in teaching learning.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]

1. What is the Procedure followed to take a decision for various matters? (A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other Rules/ Regulations etc. can be made).

Ans.- This is a Non-Govt. Aided College under GIA order 1994. The Principal of the college takes decisions in various matters in consultation with different committees like admission committees, Examination committees, purchage committees etc. as per Govt. rule. However, the Sub-collector, Padampur the President of the G.B. being consulted in policy matters.

Norms for Discharge of Functions

Any letter, Public application, proposal received from Government public Individual, Student and staff are being entered in the diary register and referred to concerned sections. officers in charge, Committees for examination and submission of the compliance in the related files. The files duly routed through the different Officers in charge/ Bursars/ Heads of the concern officers I/C are put up before the principal for approval/ sanctions after which being dispatched with number and date.
