Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]

1. What is the procedure followed to take a decision for various matters? (A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other Rules/ Regulations etc. can be made).

A note sheet is prepared by dealing assistant which is put up to his supervising staff for his views than it is forwarded to the nodal officer (wing officer) after which the SDMO.  Gives his approval Public decision/ sanctioned in case of matters relating to RKS the files is endorsed to Sub-Collector for approval.

2. What are the documented procedures/ laid down procedures/ Defined Criteria/ Rules to arrive at a particular decision for important matters? What are different levels through which a decision process moves?

In day to day Administration, S.D.M.O. is final authority to take decision, incase of ZSS or in other committees the Collector is Final Authority.
