Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1) Mission/ Vision Statement of the Public Authority:

Rural Development by implementing following Anti-Poverty Programmes:

a) Wage Employment (MGNREGA) - Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme
b) Self Employment (OLM) - Odisha Livelhood Mission
c) Rural Housing (PMAY)- Pradhan Manitri  Awas Yojana

Panchayat Samiti is the Monitoring and Coordinating Agency at the PS level for implementing of the Anti- Poverty Programmes and Other Rural Development Programmes such as OLM, 15th FCA (15th Finance Commission Award), SFC (State Finance Commission), MLA, LAD (MLA Local Area Development Fund) MP, LAD (MP Local Area Development Fund). These Schemes are being executed by the Panchayat Samiti.
