1. History/ Background/ Objective/ Purpose of Public Authority:

      Office of the District Inspector of Schools, Aska is functioning in its own building w.e.f 01.07.89 under School and Mass Education Department. The office is located in Niranjanagar in front of old women's college Aska.

      The main objective of the office is to look after development of Primary Education of the Education District and administration. Sri Brajabandhu Nayak, O.E.S-II is incharge of this office w.e.f. 04.11.2009.
