1. Aims and Objectives of the Organisation:

     The College is the output of the brain exercise of certain eminent educationists, social workers and enthusiast persons of the locality. The main objective of establishing such a college is to spread the light of higher education in the remotest corner of this area and to provide all possible facilities to the poor, meritorious and deserving students of the locality for their overall development including their personality. The college aims at training young men and women of quality to be leaders in all walks of life and serve their fellowmen with justice, truth and love. It is expected that this training would play a vital role in bringing about the desired change for the betterment of the people of our country. Further it will foster an atmosphere of intellectual vigor and moral rectitude in which the young men and women of our country may find their fulfillment and achieve greatness as eminent citizens.

2. Brief History & Background of its Establishment:

     The dawn of the education awareness in Higher Education ushered in the horizon of Govt Higher Secondary School Malpada, a cultured & beautiful area in the District of Bolangir by swearing the opening of the school in the name High school in 1951 and up gradation in 1968 in high school and all so up gradation in Higher secondary school Malpada .The all round development of the college is the be all and end all of the students, staff and the local people.

3. Functions & Duties:

     There are all total 12 Departments in Humanities and Science in the college, activities of which are under direct control of the Principal for maintaining high profile Teaching Methodology and quality education. Dedicated faculty members share their expertise in disseminating the light of curriculum along with spiritual knowledge. The key of success of our college is-

a) Favorable study atmosphere for both teachers and students.

Modernized quality teaching with latest teaching aids.

Class test and monthly evaluation process.

Exposure to co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

5. Office Timing:

10:00 A.M.- 4:30 P.M. on all working days (Mon. to Sat.) However, all staff of the college perform their duties during and after office hours and also on government holidays as and when necessary.

6. Public interaction if any:

Different activities are undertaken by the college for interaction with the public. Some of these are:

and extra-curricular activities.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

1) What is the Procedure followed to take a decision for various matters? (A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other Rules/ Regulations etc. can be made)

Ans- The Principal is the sole decision making authority in all aspects. He takes decision in various matters after discussion with different committees, as per government rules and regulations.

Norms for Discharge of Functions

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iv)]

As per record manual, any letter is first received by the Head Clerk and put up before Principal for specific marking. After return it is referred to relevant section for scrutiny and reply through the related file. Any file is routed through proper channel, i.e to Head Clerk, to Officer-in-Charge of the section with a remark to the Principal for approval or sanction after which the same is dispatched being entered in issue register with number & date.
