Sthitiprajna Womens College was established in the year 1995 as a humble effort to arouse the Indian Women from their subjugetive slumber, and impart education to girls.
It was indeed a fruitful attempt to watch housewives, aged mothers and their like coming forth and expressing their desire to pursue higher studies after a long gap. Needless to say that it was even more over whelming when our college acted a launching pad in their Careers.
Encouraged by this response, we have added another another feather to our cap by opening the "Science Stream" along with ARTS at the +2 level. It has got co-education status on 10.12.2004
