Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process
[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]
1. What is the Procedure followed to take a decision for various matters? (A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other Rules/ Regulations etc. can be made).
In the matters of decision making of CDPO happens to be the head of Office in respect of the ICDS Project and the Sub- Collector, Bolangir is the ex-officio Chairman of the Project. The Dist Social Welfare Officer, Bolangir and the Collector, Bolangir are the supervisory authority. The Director, Social Welfare, W & C.D Department is the controlling authority of the ICDS Project. Accordingly decisions are made on different matters at different level keeping in view the procedures fixed by Govt.

Norms for Discharge of Functions
[Section-4 (1) (b) (iv)]
a) Anganwadi Centre: The preschool classes are conducted from 7 A.M to 11 A.M in summer and from 8 A.M. to 12 Noon in other season. During 3 P.M. to 5 P.M the AWW makes home visit and other activities.
b) Project Office: The Project Office function from 10 A.M to 5 P.M except on Holidays. (7 A.M. to 1 P.M from 10th April to 15th June every year)
c) Field Visit: The CDPO makes field visit within the project by conducting tour for a minimum period of 20 days with 10 night halts. So also the Supervisors make 20 days tour with 10 night halts in the Sector area.
