1. Brief History of the Public Authority:
The college was established in the year 1991-92 as Ratanpur (Junior) science college, Ratanpur, in the district of Puri. It is a disciplined college in Puri which has been functioning to achieve meticulously its goal.
2. Aim & Objectives of the Public Authority:
The college aims at educating weaker section of the areas of Ratanpur, Puri, & adjacent to its catching areas.
3. Strength of the Public Authority:
The college has streams like +2 (Arts, Science, and Commerce).

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process
[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]
1. Who are the Officers at various levels whose opinions are sought for the process of decision making?
Ans- This is a Non-Govt. Aided College. The principal of the college takes decisions in various matters in consultation with different committees like admission committees, Examination committee, purchase committee etc. as per Govt. rules. However, the Sub-collector, of Cuttack is the Administrator ADM as the President of the G.B is being consulted in Policy matters.

Norms for Discharge of Functions

Any letter, Public application, proposal received from Government Public Individual, Students and staff are being entered in the issue register and referred to concerned sections. Officers in Charge of the committees and submission of the compliance in the related files. The file duly moved through the different Officers in Charge/ Bursars/ Heads of the concerned Officers I/C are put up before the principal for approval/ sanctions after which being dispatched with number and date.
