1. Brief History of the Public Authority:

The college Utkal Banani Mahavidyalaya started at Chaksuliapada under Suliapada Block in the Distric of Mayurbhanj in the year 1987-88, Which is situated at 0Km. Distance from West Bengal Border. The college got recognition and affiliation from the year 1989-90 till date, which is now aided by the Govt. of Odisha Dept. of Higher Education running with 128 strength in +2 Arts streem.

2. Main objective of the Public Authority:

The main objectives of this Institution are:
i) To promote quality learning and creativity among students and teachers.
ii) To inculcate love for learning among the students.
iii) To make the learners grow mentally, morally and physically fit human beings.
iv) Training the students to be creative and competitive to face the challenges of the new millennium.
v) Enabling them to find access into their spheres of interest enjoying equal opportunities.
