1. Aim & Objectives of the Organization:
a. To provide quality Education and to foster the advancement of knowledge.
b. To ensure a creative and innovative thinking in the dimension of social peace, prosperity, integrity and social harmony.
c. To foster meticulous and rigorous training that enables a scholar to learn what is right and what is wrong.
d. To make provision for a confirmed resolution of realistic puzzles through a continuous teacher student interaction.
e. To inculcate human potential and scientific tempo that can be utilized further to nurture the same in terms of knowledge and wisdom in constructive dimension of our social need.
f. To promote humanitarian virtues and to preserve our past ideals, culture and spiritual heritage.
g. To promote Higher Education among the rural poor around the area of Salipur and to make it liberal scientific and technological " arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached"
2. History and Background of its Establishment:
Salipur College,At/ Po:-Salipur,Dist-Cuttack-754202,Odisha Telephone No-0671-2352232, E-Mail: Thesalipur-College@rediffmail.com Established in 1964,affiliated to Utkal University and recognized by UGC under 2f and 12(b). A rural based college exactly located at the centre of two district Head Quarters of the state,that is 30 kms far towards East of cuttack and 30 kms towards west of kendrapara on the cuttack-kendrapara State Highways.Spreads over an area of 15 acres (93750 Square meter) of land. Programmes of Study:
a. Higher secondary (Arts,Science and commerce and Vocational stream)
b. Degree (Arts,Science and Commerce Stream) with Hons.facility.
3. Functions & Duties:
This College has 17 Department works of H.O.D are under provision of Principal for maintaining high profile Teaching methodology,Four streams (Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational) of our college. The key to success of our students is:
a. Healthy and congenial atmosphere of the college
b. Good relationship between the teacher and the taught.
c. The noble teaching concept of share and care.
d. Exposure of students to books.
e. Up-to-date athletic guidance.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

Efforts are made at all time to meet the objectives envisaged in the mission statement of the college. Hence decision are taken in the interest of the stake holders keeping in mind the rules and regulations of Govt. and parent University. As various committees and sections are there principal in Co-ordination with all take the decision with utmost commitment and sincerity.

Norms for Discharge of Functions
[Section-4(1) (b) (iv)]
As per record manual, any letter is first received by the Head Clerk and put up before Principal for specific marking. After return it is referred to relevant section for relevant section for scrutiny and reply through the related file. Any file is routed through proper channel, i.e. to Head Clerk to Officer-in-Charge of the section with a remark to the Vice-Principal and finally to Principal for approval or sanction after which the same is dispatched being entered in issue register with number & date.
