1. Brief History and Background of the Establishment:
Govt.High school, Dharambandha has been upgraded to Higher Secondary School in the year 2006 to facilitate higher education especially to ST/ SC community.
Since its inception it has been imparting education in separate two storied building in 2007.
The college is permanent recognized by Govt.of Odisha and also affiliated to CHSE.
This is a co-educational +2 Institute with 64+64 seats in science and 48+48 in commerce. It is completely managed by Govt. of Odisha in SSD Department. The present student strength in science in 112 and in commerce is 84.
Total teaching staff is 9 and nonteaching staff is 5.It has separate building for gents hostel and for ladies hostel.The ladies hostel is being provided with a ladies staff for assistance. The student mess is being managed by the staff members in monthly rotation system. The boarders are being paid post metric scholarship by the SSD department.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

1. What is the Procedure followed to take a decision for various matters? (A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other Rules/ Regulations etc. can be made).
This is a Govt. College and the principal of the college takes decision in various matters having discussions with different committee like, Admission committee, Examination committee, Purchase committee etc. As per Govt. Rules/ CHSE Guidelines.

Norms for Discharge of Functions

Any letter, Public application, proposal received from Government Public Individual, Students and staff are being entered in the diary register and referred to concerned sections. Officers in Charge, Committees for examination and submission of the compliance in the related files. The files are put up before the Principal for approval/ sanctions after which being dispatched with number and date.
