1. Brief History and Background of its Establishment: Jagannath College, Jaleswar, Dist-Balasore is Non-Government aided educational institution imparting Higher Education (Degree) +3 level which was established 1993 in the name Sri Jagannath Women's College, Jaleswar from the Academic session 1993-1994. This institution was converted as co-education college named Jagannath College, Jaleswar instead of Sri Jagannath Women's College, Jaleswar from the session 1996-97. The college availed permanent recognition from Govt. of Odisha and permanent affillated from Fakir Mohan University, Vyasha Vihar, Balasorw. The college provides facillities to students for +3 Arts (Pass & Hons) with subject English, M.I.L., History, Pol. Sc., Education, Sanskrit & Home Science with honours in Education, Pol. Sc. & Sanskrit. 2. Aims & Objective of the Organization: The main objective of this institution is to disseminate knowledge to the girl students in different fields and this institution also aims at the over all development of the students Physical, Mental and Moral. To make the students mentally, educationally and intellectually fit seminars are organized time to time in the college. There are also different societies and association relating to social service and cultural Programmes like N.S.S. Red Cross etc. Again to develop the creativity among the students the college also publishes an annual magazine. 3.
