1. Aim & Objectives of the Organization:

     To organize the election process of the district relating to Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly. Besides communicate all election related matters in summary revision works, Photography and Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) works conducted by the Sub Collector, Koraput & Jeypore. Also monitorii programme from time to time.

2.Mission/ Vision:

a. Conduct of General Election to Lok Sabha and Odisha Legislative Assembly and supervision of time to time Electoral Revision work.
b. Maintenance of service matter relating to employees.

3. Brief History & Background of its Establishment:

     After delimitation and reorganization of constituencies this district is under one Parliamentary Constituency i.e., 21-Koraput (ST) P.C. and part of 12-Nabarangpur (ST) P.C. The Assembly Constituency coming under the P.c. Is detailed below:

The Sub Collector, Koraput is the Returning Officer for 141-Laxmipur (ST) A.C, 144-Koraput (SC) A.C, 145-Pottangi (ST) A.C. and the Sub Collector, Jeypore is the Returning Officer for 142-Kotpad (ST) A.C. and 143-Jeypore A.C.The electors data is given below. 4. Duties Performed:

     The main objective is to sanctions personal claim like Increment, Advancement of IV Grade Employees, Sanction of Leave, Service Regularization, GPF, TA, RCM, Festival Advance, GIS, CCR, necessary payment to vendors for generating the EPICs etc. The works of dealing Assistance are under direct supervision of Head Clerk in-charge of this office.

5. Details of Services Rendered:

     Through a chain system the administration reaches to the citizen & takes every necessary step for solving their grievances. Being a part of the welfare major it also helps the poorest of the poor for their economic up-liftment.

6. Arrangements for Citizens Interaction/ Public Participation:

     This facility is being extended through the Single Window System now in operation to solve the requirements of citizens.

7. Grievance Redress Mechanism:

     Top priority is being given to attend disposal of Grievance of public as well as staff. The Grievance day has been fixed as every Saturday from 10 AM to 1.30 PM during day office and 10 AM to 12 Noon during morning office (Excluding 2nd Saturday & Public Holidays).
