1. Brief History of the Public Authority & Context of its information:
Indira Gandhi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jajpur Road, is only Women's College. In Vyasanagar Municipality Jajpur Road along in Korai. Sukiuda aud Danagadi Block in Jaipur District. Established in the year 1987. It is recognized by the Govt. of Odisha and affiliated ny C.H.S.E., Odisha in Arts in +2 stage in 1988. This College has received recognition and affiliation of Utkal University in +3 Arts Degree stage in 1996 and +2 Science in the session 2000. The College is registered under 2f and 12B of UGC in the year 2006. It is also NAAC Accredited College in 2007.
The College imparts undergraduate programme in +3 B.A. in Arts and Arts and Science Programme +2 Level. It adopts UGC course patterns of Utkal University having Honours, teaching facilities in Political Science, Economics and Oriya with 16 seats each in these subjects. The sanctioned strength of +3 Arts in 128 and that of +2 Science in +2 Level are 192 and 64 respectively.
This Institute has now reached a new horizon of following achievements:
The institution has well finished infrastructure facilities including classrooms, common rooms, and toilets for staffs and Girls students. There is well-planned water supply and green plantation in front of the college, which creates beautiful environment . The College provides a very good well equipped sophisticated Library, study center and Computer Lab, Digital Lab, Fashion Design Lab, Physics, Chemistry and Biology Lab and Psychology Lab, as small musium, Canteen, Cycle stand and Women's hostel with 60 seated and a good Playground for the students.
