1. Objective/ Purpose of he Public Authority:
To implement Command Area Development works through Pani Panchayats. (To provide irrigation facilities to the Agricultural land through Field Channel and drain out excess water by construction of field drain.
2. Mission/ Vision Statement of the public Authority:
To improve the Agricultural productivity.
3.Brief History of the Public Authority and Context of its Formation:
Poteru-Satiguda C.A.D.A set up in the year 1989-1990 to take up Command Area Development works in Poteru Major irrigation project & Satiguda medium irrigation project. After re-organisation of CADA. The Project is leeing operated to execute the field channel and field drain through Pani Panchayats.
4. Duties of the Public Authority:
To execute the developmental works under the Executive Engineer (Agril.) CAD. Division, Malkangiri in the jurisdiction Jeypore CADA. Since 2005-06.
5. Main Activities/ Function of the Public Authority:
a. Construction of field Channel.
b. Construction of field Drain.
c. Topographical Survey and Investigation.

a. Construction of field channel to reach the canal water to the farmers field.
b. To drain out excess water from the field.
