Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1. Aims and objectives of the organization:
The main aim and objectives of the Govt. Organisation is to promote Socio- economic Condition the poor Fishermen of locality of the Chilika Area. The Govt. Organization is also generate technic Formula to catch more Fish & to start Pisciculture to increase Fish- production through Co-operati movement in Department of Fisheries of Odisha.

2. Mission &vision.
The mission for development of the Financial status of the poor Fishermen under this circle has been organized by the Co-op. personal with the Leadership of the A.R.C.S (Fy) Chilika Circle, Balugaon. Our vision is to bring the lease right of the Fishery sairats of Chilika Lake through the Chilika Fisherme Central Co-op. Society Ltd. to protect the primary Fishermen Co-op. Societies from the cluth of the Odisha state Fishermen Co-op. Federation Ltd. Bhubaneswar, our vision also to initiate trainings for the Fishermen by the sister organizations like CDA /FISHCOFED & N.F.D.B. to create awareness for Insurance and Fisheries activities among the Fishermen and ensure to the companession towards.

3. Brief History and back ground for its Establishment:
This Govt. Organisation has been established during the year 1959 & to registrar the Fishermen Co-operatives in the capacity of Asst. Registrar of Co-op. Societies (Fy) Chilika Circle, Balugaon with the help of sub- Asst. Registrar of Co-op. Societies & Inspector of Co-op. Societies. The establishment of the organization is as follows :

i) A.R.C.S
ii) S.A.R.C.S
iii) Inspector of Fisheries.
iv) Jr. Clerk
v) Boatman
vi) Peon

4. Organization Charts:
Since this is purely a Govt. organisation, no chart necessary . This office is situated in tr remises of Fishery Training Institute, Balugaon.

5. Allocation of Business:
This business of the office is to take care of the betterment of poor Fishermen under this Circl .

6. Duties to be performed to achive the mission:
The Prime duties of the Organisation is to supervise and manage the primary Fishermen Co-o ocieties in proper manner.

10 A.M. to 5 P.M. from June 16 to April 15. 7 A.M. to 1 P.M. from April 16 to june, 15. The office remain closed in each Govt. holidays.

10. Public Interaction, if any:

The main purpose of the office is to develop the Socio-economic status of the Fishermen of thi PFCS situated in & around the Chilika Lake. So the Public means the Fishermen & women of the PFCS. They ar always coming as & when required by the I.C.S ,S.A.R.C.S & A.R.C.S. So the public interaction is required.

11. Grievance redressed Mechanism:

The Grievances of poor Fishermen of the PFCS submitted in written before A.R.C.S. including S.A.R.C.S. & I.C.S. solve their problems and give them Justice.
