Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

[Section-4 (1) (b) (i)]

1. Brief History of the Public Authority:

     Subalaya College, Subalaya established in 1986 is the 2nd Govt. aided college in the Birmaharajpur Block of Subarnapur District, imparting education to students in +2 Arts Stream. It has received permanent recognition from Govt. of Odisha in dept. of Higher Education and is affiliated to CHSE (O) Bhubaneswar.

2. Main objectives of the Public Authority:

     The college aims at developing the all round personalities of its students through constant exposure to class-room teaching and by organizing various extra-Curricular activities such as Games & Sports, Debate, Essays, General Knowledge competitions etc. from time to time. The off campus programmes like Youth Red Cross and N.S.S Provide a platform to the students to bring out their talents in different fields. Every care is being taken to maintain the ethos of discipline and better performance of the students.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]

1. Executive Level:

Through resolution passed in the Governing Body meeting or with the Prior approval of President in urgent matters.

2. Academic Level:

Through resolution passed in the staff council meeting of teaching staff. In pursuance of Govt. Orders, instruction from DHE and CHSE (O) Bhubaneswar.

Norms for Discharge of Functions

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iv)]

     All letters, instructions, received from Govt. Directorate of Higher Education, CHSE(O), Public individuals, Students and staff are entered in the Diary and Registers and referred to the concerned section, officer-in-charge, Committee for compliance . The files duly routed through the different officers-in-charge are put up before the principal for approval/order. There after the letter is sent to the concerned authority with office no and date.
