1. Brief history of the Public Authority:

   Established in 1986 as Panchayat Samiti College, Koksara & got Govt. recognition by the year 1987. It is situated in an area thickly populated by S.C/ST & Socio-economic backyard class of Kalahandi district. Since then it strives hard for excellence in its way to fulfill its goal & mission.

2. Aim & Objective of the Public Authority:

Basically, it aims at educating weaker section of people of this locality

3. Strength of the Public Authority:

   This College was started in 1986 with 128 seats in Arts stream (+2) level & the teaching facility in (6) Six Optional  Subject i.e. Political Science/ History/ Economics/ Odiya Optional/ Education/ Geography.

In addition to this, the College is providing education in (+2 Science) with a sanctioned strength of 128 seats in (6) Six Optional Subject i.e. Physics / Chemistry/ Biology/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ nformation Technology.

Now, the total strength of this College is above 550 students.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

[Section-4 (1) (b) (iii)]

1) What is the Procedure followed to take a decision for various matters? (A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other Rules/ Regulations etc. can be made)

   This is a full Aided College and the Principal of the College takes decisions in various matters having discussion with different Committees like, Admission Committee, Examination Committee etc. as per the Government Rules/ Council.

Norms for Discharge of Functions

   Any Letter, Public Application, Proposal received from Government Public Individual, Students and staff are being entered in the Diary Register and referred to concerned Sections. Officers incharge, Committee for examination and submission of the compliance in the related files. The file duly routed through the different Officers incharge/ Heads of the concerned Departments are put up before the Principal for approval/ sanctions after which being dispatched with number and date.
