Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

[Section-4 (1) (b) (i)]

1. Brief History of the Public Authority:

The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) provides free Quality education to the students in CBSE affiliated Schools at each block of the State, thus enhancing educational standards across Odisha. Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) is the statutory body to establish, operate and manage 315 Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas. OAVS was established on September 19, 2015 under Societies Registration Act 1860.Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Rajgangpur, Sundargarh was established in the year of 2018 by OAVS Under school and Mass Education Department. This Institute is located in ward NO 6of Rajgangpur Municipality. The purpose of this institute to impart quality education. The classes begin from Class 6th  to 12 th. There are different wings working in institute to develop co-curricular activities of students. All the facilities provided by Govt. of Odisha , school and Mass Education department  for the benefit of students. Especially free and compulsory education is being provided up to the age of 14. Free uniform, Free housedress, free NT books, free shoes, free I-card, free MDM, free sanitary napkins, free iron tablets are being provided to all the students. Free CM bicycle scheme is adopted for class 9th students. Tuition fee is free upto class 8.After 5T transformation , students are being facilitated smart class rooms with smartboard,e-library,e-science lab and a very good ambience with proper playground,cleanest toilets and pure drinking water. There are different committes working for allround development of the institute such as VMDC , MO SCHOOL, PTA. There are different committes have been implimented to run day to day afffairs basis among student and teachers such as school cabinet,school safety teachers safety etc.
