Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1) Aim and objective of the Organization:

This office is functioning from 17.10.85 onwards.

i) Functions of the Inspector is to inspect each High school at least once in every educational Session.
ii) To inspect 20% other schools like Ashram/ Kanyashrams and 5% Sevashrams to assess the
Effectiveness of inspection by other inspecting officers like DI/ Dy./ SI of Schools.
iii) To review the HSC Exam results of his zone.
iv) To finalise and approve holidays lists of High Schools.
v) To initiate organization of Sports meet/ Science seminar/ Science exhibition at zonal/ dist. level.
vi) To take effective steps for recognition of High Schools by Director, Secondary Education/ Board of secondary Education, Odisha.
vii) To attend the Board meetings, DPC meetings, Transfer committee meetings, Purchasing committee meetings, PLC meetings in order to make the around developments of the quality education among the ST & SC Dev Dept. Schools.
