Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties
[Section-4 (1) (b) (i)]
1. Aims & Objectives of the Organization:
The R.T.O. Boudh is entrusted with the management of road transport activities including collection of MV Taxes in the Revenue Distirct of Boudh covering 3 blocks.
2. Mission/ Vision:
Management of Road Safety Stands and pollution control measure taking effective ways of tracking down traffic offenders.
3. History & Background of its Establishment:
This office is part of transport and commerce Department. The purpose of opening a RTO Office in the District of Boudh is to provide MV related Service to the people of Boudh especially. This Office starts its function since 28/02/2009. RTO is the head of the Office assisted by MVI, Collector is the Chairman of the RTA, Boudh.
4. Allocation of Business:
Registration of Motor Vehicles, issue of Permit, Fitness, Issue & Renewal of DL, Transfer of ownership of vehicles, HPA/ HPC.
5. Duties to be performed to achieve the Mission:
All staff of the office performs the tasks assigned to them and the combined efforts of all results in achieving the Mission.
6. Details of Services Rendered:
Registration of New Vehicles, Issue of Permit Fitness, New Driving License and Renew of D.L.
7. Citizen's Interaction:
The information on functioning of the office is open as per the provisions of Right to information Act and Odisha Rules.

The Office is situated near Cinema Hall, Boudh. Right now the Office is running in a rental basis as its own building yet to be done.

10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M., Lunch breaking from (1.30 P.M. to 2.00 P.M.) on all working days

NO.30-GAD-AR-DRF-0181-2012/AR- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 read with Sections 5 and 6 of the Odisha Right to Public Services Act, 2012 (Odisha Act 8 of. 2012) the Slate Government do hereby declare the services as given in column (1) of the Schedule given below to be. provided to the eligible persons within the specified time limit as specified against each such services in column (2) thereof by the Designated Officers as in column (3) for the purpose of the said Act and also notify the Appellate and Revisional Authority respectively in column (4) and (5) of the said Schedule for passing of orders if any under the provisions of the said Act whenever an application to preferred to them.
