Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties
[Section-4 (1) (b) (i)]
1. Aim/Objective of the Public authority.
(a) To Provide Secondary Health Care to the Patients/Public.
(b) To implement all Health Programmes of the Govt. in the District.
2. Mission /Vision Statement of the Public authority.
(a) To create awareness of all Health Programmes through IEC, NGO partners (WHO, UNICEF) in the District for Public.
(b) To provide affordable and zero pocket expenditure to the Patients/beneficiaries during treatment in the DHH/SDH/CHCs/PHCs/SC HWCs.
3. Brief history of the Public authority and context of its formation.
Nuapada was a Sub-division of Kalahandi Dist. Up to 27th March1993 in the state of Odisha. The O/o-CDMO was established consequent of declaration of Nuapada Dist. Vide Govt. notification No.DRC-44/93/14218/R/DT-27.03.1993.
4. Duties of the Public authority.
(a) He/She is the Head of the Office as per Rule-2(XV-a) of OGFR-1.
(b) He/She is the appointing and disciplinary authority of Gr-C, Gr-D and NHM employees working in his/her jurisdictions

(a) He/She is answerable to the Govt. in all Health related issues/Programmes.
(b) He/She is responsible for all Health related activities.
(c) He/She will provide safe working environment to all the employees in the Office.
