Introduction

    The Special Planning Authority, Banki has been Constituted vide Housing & Urban Development deptt. Notification No.53301/HUD dtd. 27.12.1990 having its headquarter at Town Planning Unit, Cuttack,and functioning w.e.f. 01.01.1991.

   The Masterplan area of Banki is comprising of 09 (Nine) Revenue village which includes 07(seven) villages of Banki NAC. and 02(Two) ) villages of Grampanchayat area . The Officer –in –charge of Twon Planning Unit, Cuttack is in additional charge of special planning Authority and the Collector & District Magistrate, Cuttack is the chairman of the planning Authority.

1. About The Organisation:

        To make Provision for the Planned development, Improvement and expansion of the town under its jurisdiction over N.A.C Banki and adjacent Revenue Mouza namely Ragadipatana & Kotadwar so as to secure their present and future inhabitants sanitary condition, communication and convenience. The Special Planning Authority, Banki has been constituted vide Notification No.53301/HUD.,Dated 27.12.1990.
