1. Brief History of the Public Authority:

Dandakaranya Foundation established Vigyan Inernational Junior College (VIJC), Koraput in the year 2010 with a view to provide quality education in +2 Science stream to the students of this locality at an affordable fee structure.  In the same spirit the trust has also open +2 Commerce stream from the year 2013.  The college has obtaining Temporary Recognition since 2010-11 session till 2016-17 session from Regional Directorate of Education, Berhampur and the process for obtaining Permanent Affiliation is under consideration by CHSE, Odisha, Bhubaneswar and DHE, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Procedure Followed in Decision Making Process

1. What is the Procedure followed to take a decision for various matters? (A reference to Secretariat Manual and Rule of Business Manual, and other Rules/ Regulations etc. can be made).

Different committees have been formed to strengthen the discipline of the college. The Principal takes decision in different issues in consultation with the Governing Body and committees as well.

All the letters, applications and proposals received from the Govt., Public, students, parents, staff or Individual  applicant are marked to the concerned sections after thorough understanding by the Principal and after properly entered in the receive register of the college. And the letters after getting ready by the concerned officers again placed before the Principal for final approval and despatch

Keeping in view the work burden the Principal, in the  beginning of the session distributes different duties to the staff, both teaching and non-teaching. However, most of the official work are being carried out by the principal and concerned dealing Asst. And teachers are mainly asked to concentrate more on teaching activity.
