1. Aims and Objectives of the Organization:

The main objective of ITDA is to provide Irrigation Facilities, Infrastructure, Educational Facility. Rural Connectivity, Income Generating facilities for Economic Development etc. of the local Tribal people.

2. Brief History and Background for its Establishment:

The Integrated Tribal Development Project, Kaptipada came in to existence in the Year 1975 with its Headquarter at Udala. The I.T.D.P. was converted in to Integrated Tribal Development Agency in March 1979 after Registration under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The area is Coterminous with Kaptipada Revenue Sub-division. The total area of this Agency stands at 1233.30 sq. kms. There are numbers of Perennial and Semi-Perennial Streams inside the project area. It comprises of Four Blocks namely Udala, Kaptipada, Gopabandhu Nagar & Khunta and one N.A.C. i.e. Udala N.A.C.

    All the letters received are diarized and supplied to the dealing Asst, who in turn, put up the file to the Head Clerk. The file then moves to the PA, ITDA through the Special Officer of the Office. The P.A., ITDA reserves all rights to dispose of the matters. Similarly, in execution of Development works, the concerned Junior Engineers are executing and supervising the works while the Assistant Engineer check measures the works, The P.A., ITDA is the final Authority for payment of work bills.
