1. Brief History of the Public Authority:

Police High School, Puritown, Puri, Odisha was established by the Odisha Police of Puri district in the year 1982 to fulfil the long demands of Police personnel’s of Puri and has remained under the direct Management of Puri Police and Presidency of Superintendent of Police, Puri till now. It has received grant-in-aid from the Department of School & Mass Education, Govt. of Odisha in March 1990. It imparts Co-education in Humanities Social Science, Puri Science & Modern Language. It comprises 11 sections in three classes from VIII to X. The main aim and objectives of the Institution is to enrich the students mentally, morally and physically to serve the nation and human beings in the thoughts of “Education for All” & “Basudheiba Kutumbakam”. Other Co-curricular activities including games and sports are given importance for the students. Besides students are facilitate to take part in N.C.C. scouts & guides and Junior Red cross in the school.
