1. Brief History and Background of its Establishment:

It is the head office of Balasore Education District. This office administers the teaching and non teaching staff of different High schools under this District. All establishment matters concerning the employees of different High Schools are dealt and disposed up in this District office. The District Education Officer is the cadre controlling authority of the employees of the District. The District Education Officer is also the Pay master of all payments of the teaching and non teaching staff of the District.
