Particulars of Organization, Functions & Duties

1) Mission/ Vision Statement of the Public Authority:
Rural Development by implementing following Anti-Poverty Programmes:
a) Wage Employment (NREGS) - National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme
b) Self Employment (SGSY) - Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozagar Yojana
c) Rural Housing (IAY)- Indira Awas Yojana
Panchayat Samiti is the Monitoring and Coordinating Agency at the PS level for implementing of the Anti- Poverty Programmes and Other Rural Development Programmes such as GGY (Gopabandhu Gramin Yojana), 12th FCA (12th Finance Commission Award), SFC (State Finance Commission), MLA LAD (MLA Local Area Development Fund) MP LAD (MP Local Area Development Fund). These Schemes are being executed by the Panchayat Samiti.
